Let's Make a Car!
This afternoon we practiced our value of community by working together to make a car out of some cardboard boxes we had collected. We began by drawing our design including special features such as a steering wheel and headlights, then we set to work creating our car. We explored different joining methods and discovered that making holes, threading string through and tying strong knots was the most effective method. We also used tape, staples and glue, but found these methods were not as strong. We added head and tail lights, a dashboard, a steering wheel, a horn, wheels, doors and door handles, windscreen wipers, a boot and number plates. I wonder what else we can add to our design? What can you find in your recycling at home that we could use?
